ORGANISATIONS FLYER

GCP is one of many organisations that supports refugees and asylum seekers in Glasgow. We have created a printable PDF listing details of other organisations that support refugee and asylum seeking communities in Glasgow, including the services they offer, their contact information and opening times.

Feel free to save it for your own use or share with others. Click here to see this information displayed on a webpage. This version of the flyer was updated in February 2021.

WE JOURNEY TOGETHER

We Journey Together is a short film that tells the stories of four people going through the asylum process in the UK. The four people involved were members of GCP's Participatory Action Research group (PAR), who wanted to dispel the misconceptions and show the reality and obstacles faced by people in the asylum system in the UK. It was co-created by GCP and Plantation Productions, with support from Glasgow South Health Improvement Team - Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership (GHSCP).

Along with the video there is a resource pack for frontline staff and practitioners who may come into contact with asylum seekers and refugees. It comprises four session plans designed to raise awareness of the asylum seeker and refugee experience, and to reduce the stigma that often surrounds people in the asylum system. Download it below.
