Volunteer Jogging Coach
Are you passionate about fitness, community engagement, and making a positive impact? We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Volunteer Jogging Coaches, specifically working across the whole community including asylum seekers and refugees.
Responsibilities:
- Lead jogging sessions tailored to the diverse needs of the participants
- Provide guidance on proper warm-up, stretching, and cool-down techniques
- Motivate and inspire participants to achieve their fitness goals
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all community members
Requirements:
- Passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle
- Good communication and motivational skills
- Sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds and experiences of asylum seekers and refugees
- Ability to adapt to various fitness levels and tailor workouts accordingly
- Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive community atmosphere

Training Opportunities: For those without prior qualifications, we offer jog leaders and first aid training to ensure you feel confident and prepared in your coaching role.
Time Commitment: The group currently meet at 10am every Monday morning though we can be flexible based on your availability. We appreciate any time you can contribute!

Volunteer ESOL Tutor- Online
We are looking for a volunteer ESOL tutor to teach students online on Mondays from 10am-12pm.
If you are passionate about teaching English and are confident to plan and deliver weekly sessions, we want to hear from you.

Volunteer Bike Library Mechanic
We are looking for a volunteer to support our bike library at Moss Heights, Cardonald. The volunteer will support our bike library coordinator Siraj to maintain and refurbish donated bikes.

Volunteer Facilitator- Men’s Group
We are looking for a volunteer to support our weekly men’s group at Moss Heights, Cardonald. The volunteer will support the group facilitator in the varied activities, build relationships with the group and assist with participation. Most men are from a refugee background.
The volunteering time will be from 3.30pm-6.30pm on Fridays. Read the full role description below.
